out of office messages

Where I work, we are frequently reminded to put temporary greetings on our voice mail and “out of office” messages on our e-mail when we are going to be
off for more than a day. I always put a very polite and business-like “out of office” message on my e-mail, but I like the ones below much better.

Becky, these are great! This brings to mind several bits of workplace-related humor. Just have to decide which to post. I had a boss who was so obsessive about the out of office feature, I was almost tempted to put one on saying I could be found in stall number five, but I have a wife, cat, and mortgage to think about.
